Poly180B 是一种达到并超出 NEMA MW 79 和 MW 80 要求的新一代高性能 180 级聚氨酯。Poly180B 也符合适用于针孔电阻的 JIS C 3003 的要求。
Poly180B 结合了 180°C (355°F) 级绝缘材料的热性能，同时在 390°C (735°F) 下提供低温易焊接性（24 AWG 和更精细）。
Poly180B 的主要优点是相较于 Kanthal Tri-2-Sod 可焊接聚酯涂层（在 380°C (716°F) 下为的2 秒，在 455°C (851°F) 为的5 秒），更易于焊接。它可用于铜、铝和铜包铝线作为常用的热塑性粘结涂层的基础。 它是一种经济高效的绝缘材料，适用于精密线圈制造中使用的线材，因为它为最终用户提供了制造操作和可焊性方面的益处。
典型的应用是在汽车继电器，点火线圈，变压器和电磁线圈，精密缠绕硬盘驱动器驱动器线圈，扬声器音圈。
